Heat-resistant biodegradable material HTR-PLA
PLA, which stands for Polylactic Acid, is a thermoplastic polymer that is biodegradable and bioactive. It is made from renewable resources such as corn starch, sugarcane, or cassava roots. Due to its environmentally friendly properties, PLA is often used as a substitute for traditional petroleum-based plastics.
We use High Temperature Resistant PLA, abbreviated as HTR-PLA, which is a modified PLA material with higher heat resistance. HTR-PLA maintains higher stability and mechanical strength even at high temperatures while still retaining the eco-friendly and biodegradable characteristics of PLA.
The heat resistance of HTR-PLA makes it suitable for applications that require high temperature resistance. For example, it can be used to manufacture heat-resistant food containers, thermos bottles, baking tools, food packaging, and cutlery. It offers various advantages such as non-toxicity and a relatively low carbon footprint during production.
Temperature resistance: -20°C to 120°C.
